Follow the Italianate Renovate Journey
Kyle and Anne Smith are renovating a 1860 Intalianate that has been sitting vacant in Valparaiso, IN for more than 10 years. The building was most recently used as a 2 unit apartment, but Kyle and Anne are putting in all their efforts to make this their new home.

Custom Home Build: St. Pat's Columbarium
St. Pat’s Columbarium, located in Chesterton, Indiana, is a project Vic Roberts is proud to have taken part in. As a religious man who takes pride in his work and his beliefs, Vic donated his time and resources to build the columbarium structure for the church.

Custom Home Build: Fish Home
In the summer of 2014, we had the pleasure of working for Perkins Construction and Jim Perkins on a lovely 5,000 sf custom home build in Dune Acres, Indiana right on Lake Michigan. The project commenced in the summer of 2014 and reached its fruition in the spring of 2015. We called it the “Fish House” because when you looked down at the roof as the bird fly, the homeowner had it shaped in the form of a fish – no joke!

Custom Home Build: Crown Point Home
In 2016, Vic Roberts Design Build Homes received the opportunity to frame and install siding to a home in Crown Point. This particular project was exciting to complete because the client was a stagehand for Madonna’s tour in 2015 & 2016. At 10,000sf, building a home this size and for this client was a very important factor in establishing credibility with future client who would later contact us to complete the work for a home of similar size and value.

Custom Home Build: Burdick Road
The Vic Roberts Design Build Homes team collaborated with a few different contractors to draft, design, and build a new home on Burdick Road in Chesterton, Indiana. From the bottom up, the team was all hands on deck to provide excavation services, footings, steel framework, interior build-out, and much more.
