“Our Lady of Gaudalupe” Cord Wood Chapel, St. Patricks Parish, Chesterton

The Chapel is made from 12″ split logs from the large oak trees that fell when the tornado came over top of the church and through our town a few years ago. The logs where then laid in mortar and saw dust. It was a very time consuming process and took a little longer than we all expected.
We used special ordered cedar rough sawn 12 x 12 timbers for the main structure and then 2×8 rough sawn cedar for the rafters so they could be exposed along with the 1×12 rough sawn cedar planked ceiling.
The pews are from the old St. Pats church in town and the alter and pictures were hand made by a few members of the parish.

Sand Creek Courts Condominiums
Sand Creek Courts Condominiums was our first development and located in the heart of Duneland Cove in Chesterton. It is made up of 4 courtyards with each having four duplexes with either two or three bedroom homes for a total of 32 homes. All have basements with an exception of one and they all have cedar siding and Andersen Windows.
Olde Towne Commons Condominiums

Olde Towne Commons was created on the North end of our Olde Towne neighborhood so that it would be a visual buffer between the Olde Towne single family homes and the commercial retail property to the North. I designed them as two bedroom homes with one or two bathrooms around 1100sf per home. I clustered them together as two four plex buildings with plentiful landscaping and curb appeal. They sold so quickly, I always wished I had more room for a few more buildings.
